About this Roundtable

In February, GFDD and FUNGLODE’s Global Roundtable will discuss the United Nations Economic and Financial Committee (Second Committee), which is currently chaired by His Excellency, Mr. Abdul Momen. Ambassador Momen was the first Global Roundtable guest to join us for discussions at FUNGLODE in Santo Domingo in his joint capacity as Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations.

During this session Ambassador Momen will deal with issues relating to Second Committee which include; economic growth and development, financing for development, sustainable development, human s, poverty eradication, globalization and interdependence, operational activities for development, and information and communication technologies for development.

Topic: Ambassador Momen discusses the work of the second committees including economic growth and development and globalization and interdependence.
