educational reform that took place in Spain, based on research accumulated by working groups and the outcomes of the implementation of innovative educational methodologies in pilot educational programs in a network of teaching centers in Spain and Latin America (Argentina, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia).

She maintained that it is important for NARCEA to offer quality information for instructors to use in classroom teaching, and positively contribute to the

Mónica González cited a series of publications that she realized that relate to development and innovation within the educational sector, particularly the impact of new information and communication technologies and new virtual
teaching and learning environments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Corporate Legal Consulting from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid, Spain. She also possesses a master’s degree in Editing and Publishing from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom.

and is Advisor and Coordinator for its “Colección Universitaria.” She has also worked as an Associate Researcher at the Socio-Educational Research Institute at the Centro Cultural Institute at the Centro Cultural Poveda in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, since September 2007, and has given conferences related to her area of expertise at diverse institutions.

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), was launched in Santo Domingo during the Inter-American Forum on New Technologies that took place in April, 2007.The forum seeks to promote discussion and foster the use of new technologies in education, capacity building and training. In this sense, Virtual Educa Caribe seeks to contribute to elevating labor efficiency and ultimately economic growth and competitiveness
in the country.
