InteRDom Travels to Michigan for International Fairs
In an effort to bring opportunities in the Dominican Republic to a larger audience throughout the United States, InteRDom is excited to be participating for the first time in two back-to-back fairs at Michigan universities; the Global Opportunities Fair at Michigan State University on October 22nd, 2014, and the International Opportunities Fair at the University of Michigan on October 23rd, 2014.

Successful GDAE Concludes at the University of Pennsylvania
The historic camus of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) served as a beautiful backdrop for the fourth Global Dominican Academic Exchange program, Exploring Our History and Moving Forward, from September 22-27, 2014. The UPenn Dominican student group, Grupo Quisqueyano, served as host to the eight Dominican college students from a variety of universities and study areas, and introduced them to the life of an Ivy League student at the University of
Pennsylvania.

Emma Fawcett Brings Tourism and Development to Center Stage Through Fellows Program
The Fellows Program, an initiative of GFDD and FUNGLODE, is excited to introduce our newest scholar Emma Fawcett, doctoral candidate in international relations at the School of International Service at American University. Emma’s research interests include international development, political economy, and social movement studies, with a regional focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.

InteRDom Hosts Second 2014 “Networking Sessions for Organizations” at FUNGLODE
On Wednesday, August 13th, at 9:00 a.m. InteRDom will host this year’s second edition of “Networking Sessions for Organizations” at the FUNGLODE Art Gallery. GFDD opens an Internship Research Assistant position at its New York office
The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) announced an opening for a Research Assistant internship at their New York office. Under the supervision of the GFDD New York Director, the Research Assistant will have the opportunity to join an international and multi-disciplinary team, helping to collect important data and build key relationships with members of the Dominican community in the United States.

With the objective of strengthening academic quality and filling the gap in youth to workforce programming in the Dominican Republic, InteRDom joins forces with the Global Institute for Studies in Social Sciences (IGlobal), to offer the 8th edition of the Internship Certification Program through its Summer School program.
