Applications Now Open for Dominican Law Students to Participate in Prestigious Program at the University of Washington School of Law
The Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program and the University of Washington School of Law are pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the first Summer Institute in Transnational Law and Practice Program, to take place September 4-18, 2015, in Seattle, Washington. Applications will be received until May 8, 2015.

InteRDom, in collaboration with the Drexel University Spanish Club, would like to invite Drexel students, professors and community members to the screening of the Dominican film La Montaña (The Mountain), directed by Tabaré Blanchard and co-directed by Ivan Herrera, on Thursday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Successful National Dominican Student Conference Closes at UPenn
The 9th Annual National Dominican Student Conference drew to a close on Sunday, March 29th at the University of Pennsylvania with the traditional mangú brunch and a time for reflecting on all of the friendships and professional connections created and/or edified over the weekend.

InteRDom Forms New Relationships with Universities at the Forum on Education Abroad Annual Conference
The 2015 Forum on Education Abroad’s 11th Annual Conference created the perfect networking environment for InteRDom representatives, who joined more than 1,500 international education professionals and educators to discuss topics surrounding this year’s theme, “It Takes a Campus and More: The Faces of Education Abroad.” Program representatives also formed new relationships with university representatives and industry professionals from across the US and abroad. 3-day conference was held in New Orleans, Louisiana from March 25-27, 2015.

InteRDom to Join Dominican Diaspora Students at the 9th Annual National Dominican Student Conference
The theme for this year’s conference is: “La Evolución De Nuestra Generación: De Dónde Venimos y Hacia Dónde Nos Dirigimos,”which translates to “The Evolution of Our Generation: Where We Come From and Where We are Heading,” and will focus on how the current Dominican generation is influenced by generations past, and the challenges that face future generations.

InteRDom Travels to New Orleans for Forum on Education Abroad Annual Conference
“It Takes a Campus and More: The Faces of Education Abroad,” is this year’s theme for The Forum on Education Abroad Conference. InteRDom representatives will attend the 11th annual conference from March 25-27, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Forum on Education Abroad (FEA) is a non-profit organization recognized as the Standards Development Organization (SDO) for the field of education abroad. This will be the first time InteRDom has participated in this important
conference on education abroad.

Get Tips on Preparing for Your Career in Business at Manhattanville College
The InteRDom program, in collaboration with the School of Business at Manhattanville College, invite all undergraduate and graduate students and Manhattanville community members to attend a panel discussion and networking session entitled, “Preparing for your Career in Business,” Thursday, March 5, 2015. The free event will be held from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Ophir Dining Room Library of Reid Castle at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, and refreshments will be served.

AAPLAC Conference Concludes With Dinner and Excursion
After 4 days of intensive working sessions, riveting speakers, cultural workshops and excursions and a lot of networking and exchange of ideas, the 26th Annual Conference of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC) drew to a close on Saturday, February 21st with a final cultural excursion to the historic ruins of Boca de Nigua sugar plantation in the southwestern part of the Dominican Republic.
