The Summer 2016 InteRDom Group visits the Zona Colonial and Colonial Gate 4D Cinema
On Saturday, June 18, the Summer 2016 InteRDom group visited the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo led by tourist guide Trikke RD. Trikke is “a new three-wheeled scooter that allows you to have fun, exercise and transport yourself” its creators explain. Its stable platform is combined with an electrical system that allows the user to move in an easy, safe and environmentally-friendly way.

InteRDom Summer Program 2016 Kicks Off in Santo Domingo
The 2016 InteRDom Summer Program officially began on June 9th, 2016 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and welcomed a diverse group of students. Scholars in the program come from the United States, Bolivia and Namibia, significantly expanding our reach to international students.

The 27th Annual Conference of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC) came to a successful close on Saturday, February 20 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where representatives from the InteRDom program were in attendance.

InteRDom to Attend 27th Annual AAPLAC Conference at New Mexico State University
“Study Abroad… Crossing Borders and Daring to Dream,” is this year’s theme for the Association of Academic Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (AAPLAC) 27th annual conference, hosted this year at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. InteRDom representatives are excited to participate in the 4-day conference that includes workshops, excursions and social activities from February 17-20, 2016.

The Global Dominican Academic Exchange Program and the University of Washington School of Law are pleased to open the application period for the second consecutive Summer Institute in Transnational Law and Practice Program, to take place September 2-16, 2016, in Seattle, Washington. InteRDom Offers URI Students a 360° Experience in Dominican Republic
In the words of Jody Lisbergerer, Associate Professor, Gender and Women’s Studies of the University of Rhode Island (URI), the InteRDom winter program, which concluded this past Friday, was “a superb trip” characterized by the “hard work and marvelous stewardship of the organizers”. This year’s participants in the InteRDom winter program were 8 political sciences students from URI, who started their journey on January 4th 2016.

InteRDom Hosts University of Rhode Island Students in Dominican Republic for Winter Program
The InteRDom program began its winter session with a political science group from the University of Rhode Island (URI) today. Students arrived this morning and had an orientation session of the program, which runs from January 4 – 15 in the Dominican Republic. The group this year consists of eight students and one professor.
