Official Start of InteRDom’s Spanish as a Second Language Program
InteRDom’s Spanish as a Second Language Course officially began June 11, 2008. The class forms part of the InteRDom 2008 Academic Summer Program. The course will offer participants the tools necessary to develop competency in the Spanish language. Students will work on their vocabulary and participate in debates which will allow them to apply acquired knowledge of grammatical structures.

InteRDom’s Contemporary Caribbean Culture Class Begins
InteRDom’s Contemporary Caribbean Culture Course officially began yesterday, June 10, 2008. The class forms part of the InteRDom 2008 Academic Summer Program. In this seminar, led by Professor Pedro Cabiya, students will participate in discussions about the history and culture of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.

Dominican Students Attending Universities in the US Will Realize Projects with InteRDom
The internship program, InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), participated last Saturday in the Second Annual Dominican Students Conference at New York University. During the event, more than 400 students from across the United States became familiar with InteRDom and demonstrated interest in developing projects related to areas such as: migration, health care and international
relations.
