    The natural synergy between InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic’s mission and the profile and interests of the universities and students of South Florida set an excellent stage for representatives to present the InteRDom program, discuss research and other collaborations and meet students at diverse colleges and universities in the area from April 16-19, 2012.

  • InteRDom Reaches Out to Florida Universities

    During the week of April 16th InteRDom representatives will travel to Miami, Florida to meet students, faculty and administrators at three top universities in order to form stronger bonds with the Latino/a student communities and to learn about and participate in the important research that is being done on the region.

    InteRDom PRO: Professional Externship for Professors and Administrators came to a close on Saturday, March 17th. The six participating professors and administrators met with InteRDom representatives individually to discuss all that they had seen over the past three days, and the best ways that the program can serve them and their students going forward.

    The 4-day event InteRDom PRO: Professional Externship for Professors and Academics, presented in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic by InteRDom Internships in the Dominican Republic, welcomed 6 representatives from United States public and private universities interested in enriching the international curriculums of their institutions with Caribbean—and specifically Dominican—topics.

  • InteRDom Prepares to Receive Professors and Administrators for InteRDom PRO

    On Wednesday, March 14, InteRDom, the internship and academic study program of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will receive 7 professors and administrators from partner universities for the biannual InteRDom PRO event.

  • InteRDom Promotes Summer Programs on CCNY Campus

    InteRDom will have an increased presence on the campus of the City College of New York during the next couple of weeks as it promotes the summer study and service learning programs and helps to increase the relevance of Dominican topics on campus.
