Miami Dade College to Host GFDD President Dr. Leonel Fernández during Hispanic Heritage Month on October 4

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development in collaboration with the Miami Dade College, in occasion of the National Hispanic Heritage Month is hosting a special presentation by former president of the Dominican Republic and current president of the foundation, Dr. Leonel Fernández.

During the event, that will take place at the Wolfson Campus on Tuesday, October 4, at 12:30 pm,  Dr. Fernández will be delivering a keynote speech entitled
“Latinos in the USA: An Essential Link to the Future of the Americas”.

GFDD president will discuss the development of Latinos in the US and its relationship to Latin America’s competitiveness. Fernández, who is a supporter of MDC students and mission, has spoken at MDC several times in the past.
