Join InteRDom at the University of Rhode Island Summer Job & Internship Fair

InteRDom is thrilled to be participating in the Summer Job & Internship Fair at the University of Rhode Island (URI) in Kingston, RI on March 4, 2015 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. The fair is hosted by URI Center for Career and Experiential Education and is located on campus at Memorial Union Ballroom.

The InteRDom program has participated in many events at URI over the years, as well as hosting faculty-led short programs and placing students in
individual internships in the Dominican Republic. This fair is a great opportunity for InteRDom representatives to meet students who are interested in performing international internships, and in years past has helped to recruit excellent candidates for programs and opportunities in the Dominican Republic. The fair invites undergraduates, graduates and alumni of URI and surrounding universities to meet and speak with more than 50 employers, both for profit and non-profit, who have summer
jobs and internships available for students.

InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), is the premier internship, research and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers international students the opportunity to research important topics at the forefront of the United Nations agenda, obtain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and
businesses related to their fields of study and/or earn academic credits by taking courses and seminars at a local university.
