GMAI Will Offer Workshop: From Conception to Execution

GFDD and FUNGLODE’s Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI) will be offering the workshop, “From Conception to Execution,” at FUNGLODE Headquarters in Santo Domingo, April 7-11, 2008.

 

This class will center on project development and the role of the producer, budget planning, pitching, the television market, international sales and legal challenges.

 

Course instruction will be provided by Pepi Goncalvez, Uruguayan Producer and Cultural Consultant, and will be directed towards production directors, programming directors and creative directors in the television
industry.

 

GMAI is dedicated to providing up-and-coming professionals in the television and film industry with comprehensive instruction in the latest trends in audiovisual production, as part of its overall mission to expand the multimedia industry of the Dominican Republic. The Institute seeks to play a key role in the development of a highly qualified Dominican audiovisual industry that significantly contributes to the economic
development, competitiveness and modernization of the nation.
