GMAI Awards Certificates of Completion to Students of Cinematographic Scriptwriting

On February 15, 2008, GFDD and FUNGLODE’s Global Media Arts Institute (GMAI), awarded certificates of completion to the students that participated in the Institute’s workshop on cinematographic scriptwriting, taught by renowned Cuban Novelist and Scriptwriter, Eliseo Altunaga.
 
Classes, which took place February 11-15 at FUNGLODE Headquarters in Santo Domingo, provided students with theoretical and practical instruction on the art of cinematographic scriptwriting, focusing particularly on script composition, the development of character descriptions, methods of introducing characters and proven strategies for
presenting projects.
 
During the graduation ceremony, students communicated their satisfaction with the course and stressed the important role the Institute is playing in providing training to the country’s future film and television industry professionals.
 
GMAI is dedicated to providing up-in-coming professionals in the television and film industry with comprehensive
instruction in the latest trends in audiovisual production, as part of its overall mission to expand the multimedia industry of the Dominican Republic.
