GFDD Donates Books to the Pennsauken Free Public Library in New Jersey

The Institution Received Its First Donation for the Latin American Book Collection Section
The Pennsauken Free Public Library of Camden, NJ, received its first book donation for the Latin American Book Collection Sectionfrom Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD). The donation was received by Mayor Rick Taylor who thanked the foundation for the support to the library. The collection of
books included the Dominican Best Seller New Perspectives: Dominican Republic and Dominican Republic Encyclopedic Dictionary of the Environment, among others.
The Pennsauken Free Public Library is creating a Latin American Book Collection Section in collaboration with the Professional Latinas Alliance Network that will be comprised of books and films donated by various public and private entities bridged by the Professional Latinas Alliance Network, a local Pennsauken Township Organization lead by Mildred E. Rojas.
Yamile Eusebio, director of GFDD office in New York, was
especially grateful to Rojas, President of Professional Latinas Alliance Network, and Carla Giaudrone, Associate Professor of Spanish and Director of Latin American Studies, Rutgers Camden Campus, “for their interest and support in promoting education and Dominican Culture.” The books were added to the new Latin American Book Collection Section of the Library.
