Full House at the Screening of “Un Acto de Rebeldía al Día” at Santo Domingo’s International Book Fair!

On Friday, April 27, 2018 GFDD/Funglode hosted a special series of consecutive screenings of the short film “Un Acto de Rebeldía al Día” (An Act of Rebellion a Day), followed by a discussion with its director, Isabella Bretón, moderated by Larissa Veloz
This short is the first one of a series of short stories aimed at bringing the issue of violence against women at everyday situations to the public agenda in the Dominican Republic. The series also promotes
women‘s empowerment through art.
The event was part of GFDD/Funglode‘s program at the 2018 International Book Fair of Santo Domingo.
