Fostering National Pride and Dominican Entrepreneurship: Share your Story!
June 27, 2016
With the purpose of recognizing Dominican entrepreneurs and Dominican small and medium-sized companies, Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) supports the initiative launched by the Dominican Embassy in the United States “DR EMPRENDE EDW”.
The photography contest launched in the social media networks by the DR Embassy in Washington D.C. focuses on showcasing the fervent Dominican business community in the United States. To participate, contestants must upload a photograph representing a company or store founded or led by a Dominican on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with a brief description and explaining how it impacts national pride.
Submissions are open from June 20 to September 1, and photographs must be posted with the hashtags #DRemprendeEDW or #DRemprende and tagged @DREmbassy @DRemprendeEDW on twitter, and DominicanEmbassy on Facebook.
The winners will be announced September 20 and both the photographer and the Dominican business pictured will receive a special recognition from the Dominican Republic Embassy in Washington D.C. and GFDD.
