Columbia University Hosts Discussion on the Evolution of Democracy in the Dominican Republic

New York, NY – February 13, 2025 – Columbia University is set to host an engaging discussion on The Evolution of Democracy in the Dominican Republic as part of the Juventud, Hablemos series. This special event will feature Nathanael Concepción, Director of the Dominican Political Observatory (OPD) for the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD/FUNGLODE).
The talk will take place on Monday, February 17, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the International Affairs Building (420 W 118th St, NY 10027). The discussion will be held in Spanish, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore the historical and contemporary political landscape of the Dominican Republic.
