GFDD/ FUNGLODE Award Recipient Works Put into Circulation During 2008 International Book Fair

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) and have published the literary works the 2007 GFDD/FUNGLODE Literary Award recipients.

 

The literary publications will be put into circulation today, Tuesday, April 22, 2008, and will feature the works of the first, second and third place winners, as well as honorable mention recipients in the
following categories: the Rafael Herrera Prize for Journalism, the Juan Bosch Short Story Award and the Pedro Mir Poetry Prize.

 

During the premier of these literary works in the GFDD/FUNGLODE pavilion of the International Book Fair, GFDD and FUNGLODE representatives will announce the convocation date of the second edition of the GFDD/FUNGLODE Literary Awards Ceremony. The activity is scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. in Pavilion 3
of the Book Fair. The entrance to the Plaza de la Cultura is on Pedro Henríquez Ureña Street.
