150 Organizations Will Attend InteRDom Annual Review
March 10, 2008The internship program, InteRDom, an initiative of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE), will hold its third Annual Review, March 26, 2008. Around 150 national and international institutions based in the Dominican Republic will participate in this event.
The primary objective of this activity is to build bridges between corporations,
universities and students, in an effort to raise awareness amongst society of the important role internships play in the academic development of young people.

“Its part of the corporate sector’s responsibility to serve as a fundamental leader in education, never replacing the university, nor assuming its role, but rather understanding the social and economic benefit of internships,” explained InteRDom

During the event, participating businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to affiliate themselves with the InteRDom program (Internships in the Dominican Republic), and involve local and international interns in their projects.
InteRDom is the leading internship and academic study program in the Dominican Republic. It offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience by interning with Dominican organizations and businesses related to their field of study, while taking courses and seminars at local universities.
InteRDom students receive certificates and evaluations of their performances from their supervisors. Through
