David Mager to Deliver a Lecture on “Deconstructing Location Lighting” in Funglode

The director of photography of the New York Film Academy (NYFA) will share his experience on Monday, July 18, at 7 pm.
The Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (Funglode), the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), the Festival de Cine Global Dominicano (FCGD), the New York Film Academy (NYFA ) and the Dirección General de Cine (DGCINE) invite you to the conference "Deconstructing Location Lighting"
with David Mager.
The director of the Photography Department of NYFA will speak at the Funglode Auditorium on Monday July 18, at 7 pm.
During the meeting, Mager will review his works Main Street and 2nd Amenders in order to explain how these two photographic projects were initiated and what the decisions of framing were, the composition and narration with light.
The awarded photographer will
provide practical examples of deconstruction of several images with lighting schemes, accompanied by a detailed description of the process and the equipment used.
The conference is part of the collaboration agreement between GFDD/Funglode and NYFA.
The agreement encourages the organization of conferences and courses and benefits Dominican students shortlisted by GFDD/Funglode, who receive a 25% discount on the tuition of academic programs organized by
the institution.
