GFDD and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic invited, once again, to CUA’s Global Fest

Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in the United States showcased the Dominican Republic at the Catholic University of America (CUA)’s annual Embassy Exhibit. In correlation with the university’s Global Fest, the event took place February 18, at their campus in Washington,
D.C.
GFDD and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic joined forces to increase collaboration between the Dominican Republic and the United States and to promote the Dominican Republic as a destination for higher education and display the various study and
exchange opportunities available in the country. Specifically GFDD/Funglode internship and academic exchange programs: InteRDom, Global Dominican American Exchange (GDAE) and Fellows Program.
The event represented a great opportunity to meet the students, and faculty and staff from many academic departments, of Catholic University of America.
