GFDD to Meet with Civil Society Organizations in Lima, Peru

The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) will attend upcoming civil society organization meetings in Lima, Peru as part of its mission of engaging in strategic regional events that focus on relevant topics to the socioeconomic sustainable development of the Americas. Other non-governmental organizations, community groups, labor unions, and similar groups and foundations will also be in attendance at the meetings in October.

These
organization meetings include the Annual Meeting of the World Bank Group (WBG) and International Monetary Fund (IMF), to be held from October 9th -11th, and the Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF), a program of events including policy sessions for civil society organizations (CSOs), to be held October 6th – 9th. Maria Victoria Abreu, GFDD’s International Relations and Socioeconomic Program Manager, will represent the organization at these events.
