GFDD Announces Prize Winner of Passport DC Raffle

GFDD extends its congratulations to the five lucky winners of its Raffle at the Cultural Tourism’s Passport DC’s  Raffle held at the Dominican Republic Embassy to the White House in Washington, D.C, on Saturday, May 3, 2014.

The annual international cultural program saw over 50 embassies in the DC area opening  doors to the general public for the purposes of promoting  their respective countries, and has proven
to be an effective platform to present to the the work of GFDD and FUNGLODE in areas of technology, education, the environment, and cultural heritage in the DR and overseas.

Jordan, Genevieve Cowah and Alberto Marlen are each now the recipients of a framed poster of a stunning aerial view of the Dominican landscape, taken from GFDD’s cultural photo-book New Perspectives: Dominican Republic.

This has certainly been a successful event which has enabled us to connect with valued audiences, and we hope to continue taking part again in the future.
