Dr. Leonel Fernández to Give Conference “Latin America and the Caribbean: Challenges and Opportunities” at Georgetown University

On Friday, September 7, 2012, Dr. Leonel Fernández, Former President of the Dominican Republic and President of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo (FUNGLODE) will give the conference “Latin America and the Caribbean: Challenges and Opportunities” at Georgetown University.
The conference which is organized by the university’s Edmund A. Walsh Center for Latin American Studies will take place
between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at the Riggs Library. The event is open to Georgetown University students, faculty and staff.
